This year’s Coat Day was held at the First Church of God in Celina and we thank them very much for making their facilities available for our use. We received a record amount of coats this year. In addition to what we collected from placing collection boxes at various businesses within the county, to our surprise, 2 vehicles showed up containing in excess of 400 coats and various other apparel. The items had been collected by several churches in Fort Recovery. We did have a lower turn-out compared to prior years, maybe due to the miserable weather. As a result we will be able to forward a lot of coats etc. to the C.A.L.L. Ministry as well as several other organizations. We thank all that showed up during the last week to help with the set-up and today to make this event a success.
